Scott VanderVoort is a sculptor and multidisciplinary artist working in stone, wood, metal, and salvaged materials. His work spans large-scale installation, human-scale sculpture, and a painting practice that mirrors the emotional and structural sensibilities of his three-dimensional work. Trained at Pratt Institute— where he later served as a professor for over two decades— VanderVoort's practice is guided by tension, material truth and the quiet abstractions of nature. His work appears in exhibitions, private collections, sculpture gardens and public art projects across the U.S. and internationally.
